CD and DVD printing is a common use of printer these days. With watching movies with the DVD players at
home becoming so popular, the business is thriving. CD and DVD duplication is mainly small scale business,
and the profit from these businesses is also small scale.
Many people in this business constantly complain about the cost they are incurring while printing on the
CD and DVDs. Copying the original CD into multiple CDs do not cost much. But the printing of images on the
cover of the CD does.
Primera printers are commonly used in the printing of CDs and DVDs. Every printer works well when the
cartridge is compatible. Primera cartridges are used in
primera printers.
Replacing the original cartridge when it is finished is a costly affair. This was an inevitable expense
all the people in printing business incurred till some time now. Presently there is another option than
replacing the cartridge.
Most of the manufacturers make refill tool kits now, which can be used to refill the
Primera ink in the original cartridge. The ink can be
refilled into the existing cartridge and the cartridge becomes as good as new.
The original cartridge can be used for as much as four refills. This would mean a saving of the cost of
four new cartridges. It is not that the refill cartridges are extremely cheap, but the expense incurred in
using a refill kit is much less than replacing the cartridge as a whole.
Moreover, every discarded printer cartridge adds to the garbage as a whole and cause more harm to the
environment. By using a refill kit this can be avoided, at least to some extent.
Most people go for branded cartridges when the original cartridge empties. To some extent, this is a good
practice, but there are other good quality cartridges made by manufacturers of the printers. These
cartridges or ink may not be of a great brand name, but the quality is as good. If the refill ink is
compatible with the original cartridge and the printer, there is no harm in going for a refill.
